What Does a Tutor Do?

As a tutor, you provide students with individual support with their homework, current schoolwork, and preparation for tests and exams. You explain concepts clearly, help them overcome difficulties and, when needed, select suitable additional exercises.
Even during small-group tutoring, each student works on their own individual tasks. Your role is to support each student personally and provide guidance wherever help is needed.

  • Very good knowledge of at least one relevant school subject
  • Reliability, punctuality, patience and a genuine enjoyment of explaining and teaching
